The narrowest definition of homes for sale in Chapel Hill Real Estate would be in the incorporated city of Chapel Hill and only those homes in the Chapel Hill part of the school district.  However, there are homes for sale in Chapel Hill City that are actually in Durham county and in Durham schools.  Also, limiting your search to homes for sale in Chapel Hill could exclude homes for sale in Carrboro, which shares the same school district .  If Chapel Hill / Carrboro Schools are important to you, include the appropraite school in your MLS search.  To get a broad look at homes for sale in the entire Chapel Hill Carrboro school district, enter the 3 high schools - Chapel Hill High School, East Chapel Hill High Scholl and Carrboro High School in the MLS search.  To determine which Chapel Hill / Carrboro HIgh, Middle or Elementary school covers what area you can review the school maps at the following link  www2.chccs.k12.nc.us/education/components/scrapbook/default.php
